Master's Ranch Christian Academy
Therapeutic boarding school
The Master's Ranch Christian Academy Story based in Myrtle, Missouri |
Master's Ranch Christian Academy is a Christian boarding school that serves at-risk children from around the region with life-changing structure, support, and discipline.
Retired pastor David Bosley and Master's Ranch are committed to helping struggling youth and their families get back on their feet by providing them with the resources, friendship, and faith-based therapy they need to get back on their feet and choose a new path. Counseling and Therapeutic Healing have been my profession for the past 20 years. It has been more than 20 years since Master's Ranch Christian Academy and its now-retired founder, David Bosley, began assisting at-risk kids with a wide spectrum of anger and behavioral disorders, including those who are self-destructive and have been diagnosed with ADHD, ADD or RAD. Master's Ranch, a Christian juvenile counseling center located in an outdoor, ranch-style setting, uses a proven and effective strategy that fosters sharing and makes positive change more accessible. Building Self-Belief by Emphasizing the Value of Hard Work Taking care of animals like dogs, pigs, and calves at Master's Ranch Christian Academy helps at-risk adolescents build self-esteem and self-confidence while also teaching them the value of hard work and personal responsibility. Working with animals in a therapeutic capacity can help with a variety of issues, including stress reduction and the development of healthy emotional attachments. In addition, Master's Ranch offers a strong vocational training program emphasizing the acquisition of practical workplace skills. Boys in Master's Ranch's vocational training program learn everything from woodworking, metalworking, and cement skills to electrical, plumbing, welding, and the culinary arts. Accomplishment and Self-Control When it comes to discipline and order, Master's Ranch Christian Academy adheres to a military-style structure that emphasizes the importance of trust and respect for authority. In order to return to their life as responsible men of God, guests need to have a strong foundation of confidence, focus, and purpose. |
